Ground from the finest, handpicked green tea leaves, matcha is an antioxidant powerhouse and the Ossetra of teas. Combined with cream and a few other magic-making ingredients you’ll end up with a soul-satiating panna cotta.

2 tablespoons matcha powder
1 tablespoon hot water
1 1/2 teaspoons gelatin
2 1/4 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup sugar
In a medium saucepan, dissolve the matcha powder in hot water. Sprinkle over the gelatin and let it sit for 1 minute to soften.
Add cream, sugar and a pinch of salt. Heat gently over low heat, stirring, until the gelatin has dissolved completely.
Pour mixture into 4 small teacups, cover with plastic wrap and chill until set, about 4 hours.
