One of my favorite traditions is having a tea party to celebrate Chinese New Year. This year, I decided to make black tahini swirled cookies and invited friends over to write our wishes and fortunes on slips of paper. I love how they ended up with a marbleized effect. The smokiness of the sesame goes perfectly with a steaming cup of oolong tea.
