With sweet, juicy cherries in abundance at the farmer's market what better way to showcase them than in a baked clafoutis. Clafoutis is a rustic french dessert from the Limousin region of France and traditionally baked with cherries. Adding goat cheese to the batter gives a creamy tang that pairs well with the cherries. A scoop of warm clafoutis with a dollop of whipped cream goes perfectly with an afternoon cup of coffee.
