Winter Soups

Brrr it's cold out here in New York so we rounded up a couple of our favorite winter soups to keep you warm.

Sunchokes are plentiful in the farmer's market and make for a lighter delicate version of a creamy potato soup. We fried up thin slices of these starchy tubers to add a crispy texture to our soup and finished it off with a chervil oil.

Asopao de Camarones is a dish that Lisel grew up eating in Puerto Rico. A deliciously spicy shrimp stew that makes a great hearty dish during cold weather. Another favorite of ours is Avgolemono soup, which is a Greek chicken soup that has a zing of lemon and is thickened with frothy eggs. A big thanks to Mrs. Logaras for the delicious recipe!
