<p>6 ounces dark valrhona chocolate</p>
<p>2 tablspoons brandy</p>
<p>cayenne</p>
<p>1/2 teaspoon cinnamon</p>
<p>1/8 teaspoon ground cloves</p>
<p>1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg</p>
<p>6 pieces broken up star anise</p>

<p>In a water bath over low heat, melt chocolate. Reserve three tablespoons of melted chocolate in another bowl for coating.&nbsp;</p>
<p>In a small bowl combine the brandy with the melted chocolate. The chocolate will thicken. Fill each spoon with melted chocolate and finish by coating with melted chocolate. Combine the cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg and dust the spices over one side of each spoon. Dust the other side with cayenne and top each with a piece of star anise.&nbsp;</p>
