<p>1 cup fresh pumpkin seeds, cleaned and dried <br />2 teaspoons vegetable oil  <br />2 tablespoons granulated white sugar <br />1/8 teaspoon creole seasoning<br />1/8 teaspoon cinnamon <br />1/8 teaspoon fine grained sea salt<br />4 cups water<br />pinch of cayenne pepper<br /><br />Preheat oven to 350&ordm; F.   In a small saucepan combine seeds and water, add salt to taste. Bring to a boil and the let simmer for 10 minutes. Meanwhile in a small bowl combine sugar, creole seasoning, cinnamon, salt and cayenne pepper.<br /><br />Remove seeds from heat and drain. Spread out on paper towels making sure that they are completely dry. <br /><br />On a baking sheet, toss seeds, oil and spice sugar mix; spreading the seeds out evenly. Bake on the top rack until the seeds begin to brown, 20-25 minutes. Allow seeds to cool before eating.﻿</p>]]></content></entry></feed>
